Mental Health Awareness

Mental Health awareness is crucial in our society.

Founded by the Mental Health Foundation. The Foundation raises awareness of the ways people can learn to improve and look after their own emotional, psychological and physical well-being.

Mental Health is defined as having: ‘The level of psychological well-being or an absence of mental illness.’ How easily someone is handling their emotions and expressing ‘normal’ behaviour.

The NHS states that one in four Adults and one in ten Children suffer from Mental illness at any given moment in their lives.

Here at Starr Radio UK, we are discussing the possible causes and triggers of mental illness.

Mental Health awareness reassures People to speak up, know that they are not alone, and help is available to them.

It also celebrates and encourages people to practise good mental health.
